Jon May, Andrew B. Demers, and Paul A. Giordano have become partners in Roetzel & Andress and Robert Malani has joined the firm as an associate. May and Demers joined the Ft. Lauderdale office, Giordano is based in Ft. Myers and Malani is in Orlando. May defends individuals and institutions accused of serious violations of federal law, including allegations of healthcare fraud, money laundering, mail and telemarketing fraud, mortgage fraud, and racketeering. Demers’ practice focuses on representing banking and commercial clients in business litigation and commercial contract disputes. Giordano handles a variety of business and commercial litigation matters, with a special focus on bankruptcy — creditors’ rights, partnership disputes, commercial foreclosures, contract and corporate disputes, and general and professional liability lawsuits. Malani focuses his practice on creditors’ rights and commercial bankruptcy.
Ronald L. Siegel joined Brinkley Morgan in Boca Raton as a partner. He is board certified in wills, trusts, and estates, and his practice area also includes probate, real estate, guardianship, and taxation.
Maggie D. Mooney-Portale has joined Hankin, Persson, McClenathen, Cohen & Darnell in Sarasota. Mooney-Portale is board certified as a specialist in city, county, and local government law. Her practice focuses on governmental law, special taxing districts, land use, administrative law, and litigation.
Elizabeth A. Bowen has been named partner at Hyman & Mars in Miami-Dade County. Bowen concentrates her practice in community association liens and foreclosures.
Kevin T. O’Hara has joined Beytin, Mclaughlin, Mclaughlin, O’Hara & Bolin and will practice in the firm’s new Orlando area office located at 220 E. Central Parkway, Suite 2040, Altamonte Springs 32701. O’Hara focuses on defending complex professional malpractice and general litigation matters.
Rouselle “Bo” Sutton III has been named partner at Railey, Harding & Allen in Orlando and will continue to concentrate his practice in construction law, professional negligence, and general business litigation.
