Victor R. Smith opened Victor Smith Law Group, P.A., at 799 Overlook Drive in Winter Haven. Also joining the firm is Jeffrey I. Burry. The firm focuses on civil litigation, with an emphasis on family law.

Glenn Adams became executive partner of Holland & Knight’s Orlando office. Adams will oversee the day-to-day management of the 55-lawyer office, while continuing his corporate practice.

Richard E. Tullie joined The Law Offices of Craig Goldenfarb in West Palm Beach. Tullie focuses on automobile, medical malpractice, insurance bad faith, and aviation personal injury litigation.

Zachary R. Roth joined Ansbacher Law in Jacksonville as an associate. Roth will focus on real estate law and construction law.

Lenis L. Archer joined The Health Law Firm in Altamonte Springs. Her practice will focus on the representation of health professionals and licensed health facilities in litigation, licensing and disciplinary issues, contracts, appeals, administrative hearings, regulatory matters, and Medicare and Medicaid defense.

Alexis Cooper joined Thomas H. Justice III, P.A., in Orlando focusing in construction, business, and commercial litigation.

D. Robert “Bobby” Wells became managing attorney of the Ft. Lauderdale office of Adelson, Testan, Brundo, Novell & Jimenez. Wells focuses on workers’ compensation law.

Shannon Darsch joined Pike & Lustig, LLP-TURNPIKE LAW in West Palm Beach as an associate in the commercial litigation and personal injury departments.

Daniel T. O’Connor joined the Legal Affairs Department of 3M Company in St. Paul, Minnesota. O’Connor, a commercial litigator and compliance counselor, will advise various 3M business units.

Latour “LT” Lafferty and Donald R. Bly joined Holland & Knight in Tampa as partners. Lafferty has joined the firm’s litigation practice and Bly has joined the firm’s real estate practice.

Frank Morreale, Troy Smith, and Lee Wedekind joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough in Jacksonville as partners. Morreale represents banks, insurance companies and participants in the mortgage industry in arbitration, litigation, and technology-related disputes. Smith represents businesses and financial institutions in commercial and contractual disputes, and has specific experience with matters involving real estate, product liability, class action litigation, eminent domain, software technology, and construction law. Wedekind focuses on disputes involving property rights and valuation issues.

Angela R. Morrison opened Morrison Environmental Law in Tallahassee. Morrison practices in the area of environmental law focusing primarily on air quality and climate change issues.

Brian Smith joined BakerHostetler in Orlando as an associate in the litigation group. Smith concentrates on the representation of property owners statewide in eminent domain actions.

Mario Garcia-Serra joined Gunster in Miami as a shareholder. Garcia-Serra will focus on land use and zoning law, and government affairs.

William G. McCullough joined Holland & Knight in Miami as a partner. McCullough’s practice is focused primarily on transactional and regulatory matters for domestic and international financial institutions and nonfinancial entities, both publicly held and private.

Ava G. Mahmoudi joined Kubicki Draper in Ft. Lauderdale, where she will focus on handling personal injury protection and SIU/fraud defense matters.

Susan E. Sewell joined Mark Lang and Associates in Winter Park as senior trial counsel. Sewell concentrates on divorce and general civil claims.

Marty Fulgueira Elfenbein and Nicole Sieb Smith of Miami and Damien Orato of Orlando were elected partners of Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell. Elfenbein practices aviation law, automotive product liability, and casualty defense. Smith focuses on complex commercial and tort litigation and employment defense. Orato practices in the areas of product liability, commercial litigation, trucking defense, and casualty defense.

Najah N. Adams and Summer L. Griggs opened Adams & Griggs, P.A., in Gainesville, a general practice focusing on business entity formations, injunctions for protection, family law, probate, labor and employment, real estate closings, sealing and expungment, Social Security, and personal injury.

Phoebe J. Elder, Jared W. Whaley, and Paul Souferis joined Black Srebnick Kornspan & Stumpf in Miami.

Kenneth J. Joyce and Stacy M. Schwartz joined Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith in Ft. Lauderdale as partners. Joyce focuses on business litigation. Schwartz focuses on business litigation and complex commercial litigation.

The Orlando firm that G. Bruce Hill co-founded in 1978, changed its name to Adams, Hall, Schieffelin & Smith to reflect the retirement of Hill later this year and the elevation of Brian L. Smith to named partner. Smith focuses on medical malpractice litigation, appellate law, health care antitrust, hospital law and nursing home litigation, and insurance defense for clients in the aviation industry.

Dariel Abrahamy and Jeffrey Backman in Ft. Lauderdale and Heidi Boyles, Amanda Chapman, and Elizabeth Tener in Orlando were promoted to shareholders in Greenspoon Marder. Abrahamy concentrates on commercial litigation, real estate law, landlord-tenant law, commercial foreclosures, as well as contracts and business disputes. Backman focuses his practice on commercial litigation and class action defense. Boyles is a member of the real estate and complex commercial transactions groups. Chapman focuses on commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, noncompete issues, landlord/tenant issues, and commercial foreclosure. Tener handles a wide range of marital and family law matters.

Stephanie Hayes joined Penson Law Firm in Tallahassee as an associate. Hayes will focus on civil litigation, real estate closings, and business matters.

Sandra Stockwell joined the Office of General Counsel, City of Jacksonville in the government operations section. Stockwell focuses on real estate law.

Michael Llorente joined LSN Partners in Miami Beach as a partner. Llorente will focus on government affairs, permitting, legislation, procurement, strategic planning, and land development. Michael is also a partner at the law firm of Llorente & Heckler.

Todd Davis joined Davis Law Firm in Jacksonville as a shareholder. Davis focuses on business litigation, insurance coverage, bad faith, and consumer protection matters.

The Law Office of Heather B. Quick in Jacksonville Beach is now The Quick Law Group, focusing on family and divorce law for women. John J. Clark has also joined the firm as a senior attorney.

Daniel Marquez joined Siegfried, Rivera, Hyman, Lerner, De La Torre, Mars & Sobel in Coral Gables as an associate. He will focus on community association law, construction law, and commercial law.

Michael L. Feinstein, P.A., relocated to a new office located at 200 East Las Olas Boulevard, Suite 2040, Ft. Lauderdale 33305. Michael L. Feinstein, P.A. focuses on commercial, real estate, business, and probate litigation. In addition, the firm also provides representation in real estate, commercial, and business transactions, as well as in intellectual property matters.

Jorge D. Guttman of Miami and Marc Brody of West Palm Beach were promoted to shareholders at Gunster. Guttman is a member of the business litigation and international law practice groups. Brody is a member of the corporate and technology law practice groups.

Suhaill Machado joined Fisher & Phillips in Ft. Lauderdale as an associate. Machado’s areas of practice include labor and employment law.

Jeremy R. Kreines joined Bennett Aiello & Cohen in Miami as an associate in its commercial litigation group.

Donald R. Andersen joined Taylor English Duma in Atlanta. Andersen will focus on patent infringement, trademark litigation, aviation-related litigation, and product liability litigation and counseling.

Thomas R. “Tom” Sullivan joined GrayRobinson in Orlando as a shareholder and co-chair of the firm’s land use department.

Lindsey L. Dunn joined Kunkel Miller & Hament in Sarasota. Dunn will focus on labor and employment law.

Stefanie D. Capps joined Kubicki Draper in the Ft. Myers office, where she will focus on handling insurance defense matters.

Dexter Lehtinen, Tom Schultz, Claudio Riedi, John Catalano, and Bob de la Fuente formed LSRCF Law Firm with offices in Miami and Brevard County and will focus in the areas of business litigation, commercial real estate, land use, and government relations.

Jonathan M. Sang joined Boyd & Jenerette in Jacksonville. He will focus on civil appeals, insurance coverage, and bad faith/extra-contractual liability litigation.

David Pratt of Proskauer Rose in Boca Raton was appointed co-chair of the firm’s personal planning department.

Brian Karpf has become a partner with Young, Berman, Karpf and Gonzalez. Karpf focuses on family law, appeals, and international custody issues in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Palm Beach, and Naples.

Brian A. Watson joined Burr & Forman in Orlando in the corporate, tax, banking, and real estate groups.

Jean Marie Moses rejoined the Men’s Divorce Law Firm in Orlando as of counsel. Moses focuses on family law.

Michelle Fernandez and Paula Silva joined the Men’s Divorce Law Firm in Orlando as associates practicing marital & family law.

Noel J. Davies joined Roetzel & Andress in Ft. Myers in the real estate practice group as an associate. Davies will focus on zoning and land use matters, as well as commercial litigation.

Candice Lazar joined the Lomnitzer Law Firm in Boca Raton as an associate. The firm focuses on intellectual property, commercial litigation, and entertainment law representation.
