JAZZ FOR JUSTICE, A FUNDRAISER FOR LEGAL SERVICES OF NORTH FLORIDA, promises to be twice the fun this year. On Sunday, March 10, from 4 to 7 p.m., (and 3 p.m. early entry for sponsors and patrons), the event will be at two venues in Tallahassee: The Front Porch (formerly Chez Pierre) at 1215 Thomasville Road, and across the street at the Wine Loft. Music will flow — The Longineau Parsons Ensemble, The Steffi Tasso Trio, jazz violinist Mark Russell, and Randall “Big Daddy” Webster and the Red Hot Java — and you will be free to move between the venues to hear your favorite musicians. There will also be a silent auction, featuring gift certificates from area restaurants, jewelry, gift baskets, and fantasy trips from Shanghai to Paris, to Boston, NYC, and a smooth jazz cruise. A trip to Cancun, Mexico, will be raffled. Patron tickets are available $100 and include two VIP tickets and a champagne reception. Patrons will also enjoy public recognition and sponsorship of a LSNF client family’s admission to Jazz for Justice. General admission tickets are $20 and are available at the door, and children under 12 are free. To purchase tickets and view the online auction, go to www.jazzforjustice.org. AX/Visa/MC/DC accepted.
