Foreclosure. Bankruptcy. Credit and loan problems. Debt collection.
Attorneys practicing those areas of law are the ones consumers turn when they need help in matters close to home. In June, one attorney who is passionate and dedicated in representing consumers will receive The Florida Bar Consumer Protection Lawyer of the Year Award.
Created by the Consumer Protection Law Committee, the award recognizes excellence, character, and commitment to the practice of consumer protection law. Deadline for nominations is Monday, April 2.
Nomination forms are available at www.floridabar.org. All nominations must be submitted in writing.
The award was first presented in 2011.
Nominations may be mailed to Susannah Lyle, assistant director of public information, The Florida Bar, 651 E. Jefferson St., Tallahassee 32399-2300; emailed to [email protected]; or faxed to (850) 561-5733 if the form is fewer than five pages.
