Wm. Reece Smith, Jr., Leadership Academy accepting applications
Applications are being accepted through January 31 for The Florida Bar Wm. Reece Smith, Jr., Leadership Academy for 2015-2016.
The Florida Bar Leadership Academy is a year-long, multi-session training program designed to assist a diverse and inclusive group of lawyers in becoming better leaders within the profession, in their chosen path, while enhancing their leadership skills.
The Leadership Academy is open to all Bar members in good standing. In an effort to achieve diversity among the participants, qualified individuals will be sought from different backgrounds, large and small law firms, the private and public sectors, different practice areas, and different geographical areas of the state.
There will be seven meetings throughout the year, including graduation in June 2016. The programs go from Friday midday to Saturday midafternoon. There will be CLE credit awarded for certain sessions.
