William M. Hoeveler Judicial Professionalism Award
The Florida Bar’s Standing Committee on Professionalism is now accepting applications for its William M. Hoeveler Judicial Professionalism Award. The purpose of this award is to recognize a judge who best exemplifies strength of character, competence, commitment and civility as a jurist, lawyer and public servant. Nominees should be judges in active service who have communicated their dedication to the ideals of justice and demonstrated diligence in inspiring others to the mission of professionalism, though any judge who served in active or senior capacity with one year preceding the deadline of February, 12, 2024 is eligible for nomination.
The Hoeveler Award will be awarded at the Florida Bar’s Annual Convention during the Judicial Luncheon.
