14th JNC sends seven names to the governor
The 14th Judicial Circuit Nominating Commission recently convened to begin the process of filling a new circuit court judgeship and a Bay County Court judgeship recently created by the Florida Legislature.
The JNC received 14 applications. The JNC interviewed eight of the 14 individuals to determine their fitness for appointment. Those interviews took place August 29.
Upon completion of the interview process, the commission proceeded directly to deliberations and is forwarding the following applicants to Gov. Ron DeSantis for his consideration:
