15th JNC elects officers, is still seek judicial candidates for two vacancies
The 15th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission held a Zoom meeting on August 20 to nominate a chair and vice-chair for 2025. Gordon Dieterle was named chair and Eric Levine was named vice-chair through July 1, 2026.
The 15th Circuit JNC is also still soliciting applicants to fill one vacancy for a Circuit Court judge and one vacancy for a Palm Beach County Court judge for new positions created by the signing of SB 2508 earlier this year by Gov. Ron DeSantis. The JNC has been asked to provide Gov. DeSantis with nominees for the vacancies by Sunday, October 12. The deadline for submission of the completed application is 5 p.m., Friday, September 19. It is anticipated that the interviews will be held on Friday, October 3.
