15 qualify for YLD board races; 17 elected without opposition
Fifteen candidates are running in five contested races for the Young Lawyers Division Board of Governors in the Bar’s March 2021 election while 17 have been elected without opposition.
Filing for the races closed on December 15. There are contests in the 11th, 13th, and 17th circuits.
Paige Comparato, Ashley V. Gantt, Bethany J.M. Pandher, and Jessica Saiontz filed for Seat 2 in the 11th Circuit. Nicole Comparato and Marbely Hernandez filed for Seat 5 in the 11th Circuit.
Giovanni Giarrantana, Amber L. Inman, Natasha Khoyi, Jessica Kramer, and Valeria Obi filed for Seat 1 in the 13th Circuit. Selina Patel and Kyle S. Roberts filed for Seat 1 in the 17th Circuit. Paul M. May and Yineth Sanchez Aslan filed for Seat 2 in the 17th Circuit.
Ballots in those races will be mailed around March 1, and must be returned to the Bar’s election company by 11:59 p.m. on March 22. Bar members will again have the option of casting a paper ballot or voting online. Instructions will be included with the mailed ballots. Any runoffs will be conducted between April 1 and April 22.

• Rachel Butler for Seat 1 in the Third Circuit;
• Celeste Thacker Hankins for Seat 1 in the Fifth Circuit;
• Arti A. Hirani for Seat 1 in the Ninth Circuit.
• Brandon Sapp for Seat 2 in the Ninth Circuit;
• Celia Thacker Dorn for Seat 3 in the Ninth Circuit;
• Marianne Curtis for Seat 1 in the 11th Circuit;
• Giselle Gutierrez for Seat 3 in the 11th Circuit;
• Iris A. Elijah for Seat 4 in the 11th Circuit;
• Michael Levine for Seat 6 in the 11th Circuit;
• Anisha Patel for Seat 2 in the 13th Circuit;
• Ciara C. Willis for Seat 3 in the 13th Circuit;
• Leslie Arsenault Metz for Seat 1 in the 15th Circuit;
• Masimba Maxwell Mutamba for Seat 2 in the 15th Circuit;
• Stephanie Cagnet Myron for Seat 3 in the 15th Circuit;
• Brooke Latta for Seat 3 in the 17th Circuit;
• Karina Rodrigues for Seat 4 in the 17th Circuit; and
• Luis A. Sosa for Seat 1 in the 19th Circuit.
All new and returning board members will be sworn in for their two-year terms in June at the Bar’s Annual Convention.
