CLE LogoThe deadlines for members scheduled to report their three-year cycle CLE reporting or Basic Skills Course Requirement in February through November have been extended to December 31, 2020, due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Bar’s 24/7 OnDemand CLE catalog is active.

LegalFuel: The Practice Resource Center of The Florida Bar also offers a host of free on-demand education programs, available at www.legalfuel.com/free-cle.

LegalFuel Director Jonathon Israel says the center currently offers 90 complimentary programs online that provide 119.5 hours of general CLE credit, including:

• 5 hours of ethics

• 71 hours of technology

• 8 hours of mental-health awareness

• 5 certification credits

In order to satisfy the Basic Skills Course Requirement, one must complete Practicing with Professionalism online or in person at one of the locations provided by The Florida Bar. New lawyers or members completing Phase II of the BSCR will be able to fulfill this requirement by participating in the 24/7 online CLE version. Members will have the option of completing three single Basic programs (a single course of at least 7 one-hour segments) or by completing 21 individual segments, or any combination of the two.
