Applicants for 14th Circuit and Bay County judicial vacancies announced
The 14th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission recently convened in order to begin the process of filling the two new judgeship positions created by the Florida Legislature and the governor.
There is one circuit court judicial position, and one Bay County court judicial position.
The following individuals have applied for consideration to fill the circuit court position:

- Dana Morris
- Jeremy Mutz
- Peter Overstreet
- Jarred Patterson
- Rachel Seaton
The following individuals have applied for consideration to fill the Bay County court position:
- Erin Baur
- Francis Carbone
- Alicia Carothers
- Blair Daffin
- Matt Hutt
- Shalla Jefcoat
- Rachel Seaton
- Chelsea Stewart
The commission, upon completion of the application review process, has scheduled interviews for Friday, August 29, beginning at 8 a.m., CDT, at the Courtyard by Marriott. JNC members will convene at 7:45 a.m., CDT, to address preliminary issues prior to the start of the interview process.
Anyone wishing to observe/listen to the preliminary meeting or the interviews can do so by being present at the Courtyard by Marriott, 905 E 23rd Place, in Panama City on August 29 at 7:45 a.m., CDT.
