Retired Judge of Compensation Claims Rand Hoch of The Law and Mediation Offices of Rand Hoch was presented with the Key to the City of West Palm Beach by Mayor Keith James. Hoch was recognized for his decades of service on behalf of the city’s LGBTQ+ residents and municipal employees.

Elizabeth F. Schwartz of Miami was honored with the Pioneer Award by SAGE, a national non-profit that’s been looking out for LGBTQ+ elders since 1978.

Jerome M. Hesch of Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone was recently recognized at the 57th Annual Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning and was named the recipient of Bloomberg BNA’s Leonard L. Silverstein Lifetime Achievement Award.

Judge Edward H. Merrigan, Jr., 17th Judicial Circuit, was promoted to Major General in the U.S. Army Reserve. Major General Merrigan is the Commanding General of the 84th Training Command, Fort Knox, Kentucky.
