Ron Kozlowski of Turner O’Connor Kozlowski in Gainesville has been elected secretary of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Mark A. Romance of Day Pitney in Miami wrote an article, “FTC’s New Rule Usurps Florida’s Public Policy on Noncompete Agreements,” published in the Daily Business Review.

Denis M. DeVlaming of Clearwater was presented the Steven M. Goldstein Criminal Justice Award for legal excellence at the annual convention of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers in Sarasota.

Scott Atwood of Henderson, Franklin, Starnes & Holt in Ft. Myers presented a webinar for the Southwest Regional Manufacturers Association of Florida on, “Navigating New Labor Rules for Florida Manufacturers: Are Your Non-Compete and Independent Contractor Agreements Safe?”

Benjamin Sunshine and Salvatore A. Polidoro of Brinkley Morgan in Ft. Lauderdale have graduated from Class VI of the Florida Fellows Institute of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
