Beware phishing email with subject: ‘IMPORTANT: Updates and Changes to our Member Roster’
The Florida Bar is warning its members that fraudulent emails regarding membership information are being distributed.
The Bar is advising members not to click on the attachments contained within the emails and to permanently delete them immediately. Members should also notify their IT department as soon as possible. The Bar suspects that these emails contain malicious software.
The fraudulent emails are purportedly signed by Florida Bar staff or members, and they direct members to update their information by clicking on the attachment provided.
