In a blend of law and pop culture, Florida Bar board-certified marital and family law attorney Eddie E. Stephens III showcased professional pride at MEGACON Orlando, where he was photographed with actor Joe Pantoliano while displaying the much-traveled Florida Bar board certification flag.
Stephens, of Stephens & Stevens, is among the youngest lawyers to achieve board certification in marital and family law and has maintained the distinction for more than 22 years. MEGACON caters to the comic book, sci-fi, anime, fantasy, and gaming communities.
Board certification is The Florida Bar’s highest level of evaluation, recognizing attorneys with demonstrated expertise, professionalism, and ethics in their specialty areas.
A past recipient of the Bar’s Board Certification Promotion Award, Stephens has also chaired the Marital and Family Law Board Certification Committee, helping advance the program statewide.
Pantoliano, known for roles in The Sopranos, The Matrix, and Memento, added a touch of celebrity to the event, drawing attention to the certification program.
“Board certification is about more than a title — it’s a commitment to excellence and a promise to clients,” Stephens said.
