CABA announces 2025 Legend Awards

CABA 2025 Legend Awards were announced December 3.

The Cuban American Bar Association (CABA) announced the recipients of its 2025 Legend Awards during the organization's holiday party on December 3.

During the event, Miami District 4 Commissioner Rafael “Ralph” Rosado presented CABA Pro Bono Legal Services with a $5,000 donation.

The 2025 Legend Awards recipients included:

  • Judge Jose M. Rodriguez who received the Honorable Mario P. Goderich “PAVER” Award, given in recognition of professionalism, achievement, values, excellence, and respect.
  • Jorge Luis Lopez of Jorge Luis Lopez Law Firm who received the Osvaldo N. Soto Legacy Award, given in recognition of vision, tenacity, and achievements in overcoming and helping others to overcome adversity.
  • Miami-Dade County Commissioner Roberto J. Gonzalez who received the Amigo Award, recognizing individuals who have aided in promoting the ideals and goals of CABA’s mission.
  • Karen Cespedes of Esquire Deposition Solutions who received the 2025 CABA Presidential Award, recognizing community leaders who support CABA’s initiatives.
  • Daniela Tenjido-Eljaiek of Rivero Mestre who received the Member of the Year Award.

The awards were presented during CABA's holiday party at The Courtyard in Coral Gables.
