CABA hosts last leadership training program of the year
The Cuban American Bar Association (CABA) recently held its fourth Leadership, Education, and, Development (L.E.A.D.) program session.
The L.E.A.D. program is designed to provide CABA fellows with the knowledge, skills, and tools to be effective leaders within CABA, The Florida Bar, and their communities.
“We are pleased with this year’s L.E.A.D. programs and hope the sessions provided valuable insights for our fellows,” said CABA President Javier A. Ley-Soto. “These are our future leaders and we want to help them be engaged and able to develop meaningful relationships that will also help them grow personally and professionally.”
The fourth L.E.A.D. program session, “The Growth Mindset: Cultivating Leadership Through Professional Development,” was made possible by the support of Martínez-Cid Law and Podhurst Orseck, which hosted the meeting. Guest speakers included the U.S. Southern District Judge Melissa Damian, Miami-Dade Clerk Juan Fernandez-Barquin, Aimee A. Ferrer, partner, Grossman Roth Yaffa Cohen; Jordi Martínez-Cid, partner, Martínez-Cid Law; Joaquin Escobar, Sunstruck Studios; Fernando S. Arán, partner, Annesser Armenteros, and a CABA past president; and Manuel L. Crespo, Jr., partner, Greenspoon Marder, and a CABA past president.
