Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida honored with JM Family Enterprises Community Choice Award
Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida (CCLA) has been awarded the JM Family Enterprises Community Choice Award by 211 Broward.
The honor reflects the community’s recognition of CCLA’s “unwavering commitment to providing free civil legal services to vulnerable residents in Broward and Collier counties.”
The JM Family Enterprises Community Choice Award is an accolade presented by 211 Broward, recognizing a nonprofit that has made a significant impact in the community. The recipient is selected through public voting.
“We are deeply honored to receive the JM Family Enterprises Community Choice Award,” said Lisa G. Goldberg, executive director of CCLA. “This recognition from our community inspires us to continue our work in advocating for the rights and well-being of those we serve.”
Over the years, CCLA has been recognized for its programs and collaborative efforts. Notably, in 2024, CCLA’s Senior Citizen Continuum of Care Project, in partnership with Goodman Jewish Family Services, received the Non-Profit of the Year Award for Collaboration at the 13th Annual Community Care Plan Non-Profit Awards hosted by 211 Broward. This project has been instrumental in preventing homelessness among vulnerable seniors in Broward County, according to CCLA.
