Cogency Global hosts dockside fundraiser for Legal Services of Greater Miami

Legal Services of Greater Miami CEO Monica Vigues-Pitan, center, accepts a donation of $4,000 from Cogency Global’s representatives Glenn Osoteo, left, and Jonathan Sanzone to support access to justice initiatives.
Guests enjoyed the Miami sunset as they boarded a boat docked at Bayside Marketplace in downtown Miami recently for “An Evening for Impact: Dockside Connections,” an event benefiting Legal Services of Greater Miami and hosted by Cogency Global.
"Our partnership with Cogency Global enhances our ability to deliver critical legal services where they are needed most," said Monica Vigues-Pitan, CEO of Legal Services of Greater Miami. "With their support, we are able to expand the reach of our programs and ensure that more members of our community receive the protection and advocacy they deserve."
"At Cogency Global, we believe in the right response at the right time, every time. Legal Services of Greater Miami brings that same principle to life for those in our community who need legal help the most," said Daniel Von Weihe, chief revenue officer at Cogency Global. "By supporting their mission, we helped ensure that more people received timely, effective legal assistance when it could make the greatest difference."
The September 10 event and silent auction held aboard a stationary ship was intended to offer attendees “a waterfront setting for an evening of connection, conversation, and community impact.”
Cogency Global, a uniform commercial code services company, announced its donation of $4,000 to support the non-profit’s work assisting low-income clients at the event, saying the partnership reflects its “broader commitment to giving back and supporting organizations that strengthen communities by advancing access to justice, education and social good.”
