Collier County Legal Aid honors George A. Wilson as a Champion of Justice

The Legal Aid Service of Collier County (LASCC) has selected George A. Wilson of Wilson & Johnson in Naples as its 2025 Champion of Justice Award honoree.
The award will be presented at LASCC’s Rockin’ Blues Bash fundraiser event to be held on May 1 at The Maddox in Naples.
“George richly deserves this recognition given his many contributions to our legal aid program, the constituents in need we serve, and our entire Collier County community,” said Carol O’Callaghan, regional deputy executive director of LASCC, also citing his “dedicated service on numerous non-profit boards.”
O’Callaghan praised Wilson and his firm for providing financial support to LASCC over many years, as well as pro bono service, particularly for Legal Aid’s annual Wills for Heroes event, which provides basic estate plans to local veterans, police officers, and firefighters.
The LASCC Champion of Justice award honors individuals and organizations for longstanding support through financial contribution, volunteer service, and/or efforts to raise community awareness about LASCC’s services and impact, and who “substantially contribute to making Collier County a better place for all to live.”
The LASCC’s Rockin’ Blues Bash fundraiser is open to the public. For tickets, email [email protected] or call 239-298-8138 for more information.
