Decorum.law offers members free professionalism resources
The website offers a range of materials and courses designed for different groups and levels of expertise, including students, lawyers seeking CLE credits, and professors and deans seeking to comprehend and uphold ethics and professionalism within the profession
For years, The Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division and the Henry Latimer Center for Professionalism have been committed to promoting professional and ethical values to legal practitioners in Florida.
The result of that partnership has now debuted as Decorum.Law — a library of accessible and cost-free resources to maintain the highest ideals of professional legal practices at every stage of a lawyer’s career.
Decorum.Law shares free professionalism resources for developing and seasoned legal leaders across Florida and challenges users to understand and apply the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar.
The website offers a range of materials and courses designed for different groups and levels of expertise, including students, lawyers seeking CLE credits, and law professors and deans seeking to comprehend and uphold ethics and professionalism within the practice of law.

Rebecca Bandy
Henry Latimer Center Director Rebecca Bandy said this new resource has been a pet project of hers and Assistant Director Katie Young for a while.
“We’ve been passionately working on this ongoing project with the Young Lawyers Division for quite some time,” Bandy said. “We are excited and proud to launch this incredible free resource for lawyers, law students, professors, and legal professionals.”
Bandy said the new collection of resources at Decorum.Law came to fruition through a grant by the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. The grant awarded by the court was a result of the Engle tobacco litigation to the YLD to increase professionalism programming.
The YLD’s Practicing with Professionalism and Professionalism committees worked with the Bar’s Center for Professionalism and used the grant money to develop and maintain long-term professionalism and ethics programming for Florida law schools, as well as young Florida lawyers.
YLD President Anisha Patel says Decorum.law shows the quality of professionalism content and materials available on its website.
“By providing this first of its kind free resource to lawyers and law students in Florida, we are ensuring young lawyers are given the tools they need to learn and exhibit the highest standards of professionalism in the practice of law,” Patel said.

Patel praised the work of immediate past committee Chair Sarah Morris and current Chairs Giovanni Giarratana and Chris Butler who collaborated with YLD board members to bring the new resource to fruition.
“They have worked tirelessly to ensure law students and young lawyers in Florida are able to benefit from these resources for many years to come,” Patel said.
For law schools and students, deans and professors may access exclusive instructor resources and course materials, which may be added to class curricula and supplement teaching materials. These resources provide real-world insight into the responsibility legal practitioners hold when interpreting the law and serving as legal counsel.
Law students can use the resources to learn more about the legal profession and how to uphold ethical and professional standards when facing any challenge.
All materials at Decorum.Law are available now, free of charge. They include courses that cover a wide range of topics, such as Professionalism and Civility in Practice and Professionalism in a Deposition.
By providing these courses, Decorum.law serves as a new go-to resource that empowers lawyers with the right tools to face ethical challenges effectively. Legal practitioners at all levels of experience can greatly benefit from this high-quality resource designed to reinforce the legal standards and values of Florida. It is essential that individuals involved in the field have access to these resources to maintain and improve their professional legal practices.
