Federalist Society to honor new justices
The Federalist Society Lawyer Chapters of Florida will honor new Supreme Court Justices Charles Canady, Ricky Polston, and Jorge Labarga at a reception at the Bar’s Annual Convention June 25 in Orlando.
(Justice James Perry has a prior commitment and will be unable to attend.)
The event is set for Grand Ballroom II on Thursday at the Marriott World Center Hotel from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The justices will receive Madison coin holders donated by Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell.
Alan Orantes Forst, of the Florida Federalist Society, notes that Justices Canady, Polston, and Labarga will be honored for “their public service and furtherance of the rule of law.”
