Four Florida attorneys act for charity in feature film

Four Florida attorneys donated their time and acting skills to make a full-length feature film whose premier gate proceeds benefited the Marathon High School Athletics Program in the Florida Keys.
Shown at the October 2020 world premiere in Marathon are, from the left, lawyers William J. Heffernan, Richard E. Warner, Richard DeNapoli, and Robert W. Goldman, all of whom had major acting roles in Warner’s Halloween spoof-film Marathon After Midnight.
IMDb describes the horror-comedy film this way: “At a dilapidated B&B in the Florida Keys, eccentric siblings Mandrake and Roxanne accidentally kill an IRS agent just as the FBI closes in. Meanwhile, teen treasure hunter Tracy searches for hidden loot, trick-or-treaters add chaos, and Roxanne discovers Mandrake’s ultimate betrayal.”
Their efforts have had the additional benefit to the Florida Keys of promoting Key West’s famed “Fantasy Fest” and other Keys Halloween events. The movie now has gained notoriety by being featured internationally through Amazon Prime and Amazon.com among other distributors.
