Fourth Circuit JNC sets interview schedule
As a result of the enactment of SB 2508, there is one new judicial position that has been created in the Fourth Judicial Circuit Court.
Gov. Ron DeSantis has asked the Fourth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission to provide him with qualified nominees for that position.
The JNC received eight applications and will interview the applicants on Friday, November 14, in accordance with the following schedule:

Interviews will take place in the chambers of Fourth Circuit Chief Judge Lance Day located at the Duval County Courthouse, Room 7139, Duval County Courthouse, 501 W. Adams St., Jacksonville.
Members of the bench, the Bar, and the public are encouraged to contact the commissioners with relevant information about these applicants on or before November 13.
All proceedings of this JNC are open to the public except for deliberations. Accordingly, applicants should not expect their application be kept confidential. If an applicant is nominated by this commission, all materials attached to the original application along with any supplemental materials will be submitted to Gov. DeSantis’ Office.
