Grant allows Dade Legal Aid – Put Something Back to expand bankruptcy assistance
Miami-Dade’s Put Something Back Pro Bono Project recently received a $10,000 grant from the American College of Bankruptcy Foundation.
“This grant will expand services to additional low-income clients in need of bankruptcy assistance, targeting those impacted by the COVID pandemic,” said Bruce Levine, the project coordinator.
The funds will be used Put Something Back to expand and promote client access to services, update materials, to educate the public about their legal rights and obligations, and to improve technology, training, and recruitment for new attorneys to better serve the bankruptcy needs of the community’s growing low-income population.
