The Kids Deserve Justice specialty license plate created by The Florida Bar Foundation funds direct legal services to Florida children in need.
Every KDJ specialty plate generates $25 in support of the Foundation’s Children’s Legal Services program.
“The Florida Bar Foundation uses funds from the KDJ plates to give grants to legal aid programs that, among other things, protect abused and neglected children, children in foster care, and children who need special education testing and services, or access to health care,” said Foundation President Stephen R. Senn.
Presently, about 1,300 Floridians have purchased a KDJ specialty tag, but recent legislation directs that low-volume specialty plates are subject to being discontinued.
“Please help the Foundation expand our base of support for children in need of civil legal assistance by purchasing your plate and spreading the word…about the good that comes from purchasing a KDJ specialty license plate,” he said.
