Hogan Lovells recently hosted a Hispanic Heritage Month reception at its Miami office titled “Celebrando Nuestras Raices” or “Celebrating Our Roots.”

“We embraced the occasion to pay homage to our longstanding connection with nearly 100 friends and clients who have played a pivotal role in our office’s successful multi-decade journey, and whose support and collaboration have been instrumental in shaping our success and forging new paths in South Florida, Latin America, and on the global stage,” said the firm’s Daniel Balmori. “The celebration was especially meaningful for Hogan Lovells, which is one of the only top global law firms led by a CEO with Hispanic heritage, Miguel Zaldivar, and one who built his career in our Miami office.”

The event was spearheaded by office diversity committee members Natalie Perez and Sarah Cohen.

“We’ve never before seen such a cross-section of talent and community leaders come together — from state and federal judges, the former mayor of the City of Miami, Grammy-Award-winning international artists, business executives from industry-leading clients and Fortune 500 companies, general counsel from nation-leading educational institutions, and even cultural icons like Emilio Estefan,” Balmori said. “It is a tribute to the growth of the legal market and the trusted relationships forged locally in Miami over a long period of time.”
