Jennifer Diaz of Diaz Trade Law presented an “Import and Export Procedures and Processes Workshop” to delegates from Costa Rica, Nicaragua, St. Lucia, Grenada and the Caribbean for the Florida International University’s Cochran Fellowship Program.

Judge Stefanie C. Moon of the 17th Judicial Circuit in Broward spoke on, “Interpersonal Violence Injunction,” during the Broward County Bar Nuts & Bolts Family Law Seminar.

Ben Dachepalli of Bradley Arant Boult Cummings has been named general counsel for the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council.

Jay Knight of Moseley Prichard Parrish Knight & Jones in Jacksonville was inducted as a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers at the annual meeting of the college in Rome, Italy.

Rob Blank of RumbergerKirk in Tampa achieved recertification as a civil trial law advocate from the National Board of Trial Advocacy.

Lonnie Groot of Daytona Beach was a featured speaker at the Veterans Recognition Event of Daytona State College at the college’s New Smyrna Beach/Edgewater campus.

Katherine V. Hely and N. Patrick Hely of West Palm Beach were honored at the third Global IP Awards. Their firm, Caribbean IP, was named the Caribbean Trademark Firm of the Year.

Shawn Wolf of Bilzin Sumberg has been elected as a fellow to the American College of Tax Counsel.

Hassia T. Diolombi of Shook, Hardy & Bacon in Miami has accepted an invitation to join the IADC, the global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests.

Adam T. Rose of Leesfield Scolaro, was a featured speaker at the Pan European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers conference in Malaga, Spain, presenting on, “Bringing Claims in the US and Relationship with the Athens Convention.”

Dennis G. Kainen and Brielle L. Mark of Weisberg Kainen Mark in Miami spoke to JP Morgan Wealth Advisors in Miami on, “What JP Morgan Wealth Advisors Should Know About IRS Procedures, Reporting, and Pitfalls to Better Protect Their Clients and Themselves.”

Steven J. Rothman of Jones Foster has been inducted as president of the American Board of Trial Advocates Palm Beach Chapter.

Mitchel Widom of Bilzin Sumberg in Miami was inducted as a fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Dr. Amy D. Ronner, law professor emeritus of St. Thomas University School of Law, did a talk on her sixth book, “Dostoevsky as Suicidologist: Self-Destruction and the Creative Process,” for the Global Speaker Series at Washington University in St. Louis and spoke in a Dostoevsky Roundtable in memoriam for Dr. Deborah Martinsen at the annual Convention of the Association for Slavic, East European, & Eurasian Studies in Chicago.

Richard A. Greenberg of Rumberger Kirk in Tallahassee participated as a panelist in, “Demystifying the Bar Grievance Process,” presented by the Tallahassee Women Lawyers.

Warren R. Trazenfeld of Warren R. Trazenfeld, P.A., in Miami co-wrote, “Daubert /Kumho Tire and the Legal Malpractice Expert Witness,” published in the “St. Mary’s Journal on Legal Malpractice & Ethics.”

Marlon Hill of Weiss Serota Helfman Cole + Bierman has been appointed to the Class of 2025 Board of Directors of the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Daniel C. Shatz of Hinshaw & Culbertson in Coral Gables has been named co-chair of the ABA Insurance Coverage Litigation Committee’s Employment Subcommittee.

Elise Batsel of Stearns Weaver Miller has been elected president of CREW Tampa Bay.
