Jennings petitions for Bar reinstatement

Pursuant to Rule 3-7.10, J. Blayne Jennings has petitioned the Supreme Court for Bar reinstatement.

Jennings was suspended for 91 days on November 14, 2014, for failing to provide several immigration clients with competent and diligent representation and adequate communication, which ultimately led to client harm. In a subsequent matter, Jennings was suspended for three years effective December 15, 2014, for failing to provide his clients with adequate communication. Jennings also engaged in an improper partnership with a non-attorney and failed to supervise her conduct that included collecting legal fees for future legal work on Jennings’ behalf during the period of time of his suspension.

Any persons having knowledge bearing upon Jennings’s fitness or qualifications to resume the practice of law should contact Carrie Constance Lee, Bar Counsel, The Florida Bar, Orlando Branch Office, 1000 Legion Place, Suite 1625, Orlando 32801-1050, phone 407-425-5424.
