Anthony Lehman of Hudson Lambert Parrott has become chair-elect of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Construction Law.

Jennifer Diaz of Diaz Trade Law was named a recipient of the Florida Lawyers Network Advocate Award and joined a panel hosted by the Global Chamber, “Move Forward Successfully Amidst Tariffs and Shifting Trade Dynamics.”

Rafael Suarez-Rivas, the Hialeah city attorney, co-presented, “Procurement 101,” at the 48th Annual Local Government  Law Seminar in Florida Seminar held in Hollywood.

Ira Leesfield of Leesfield & Partners  spoke at the New Jersey Association for Justice’s 2025 Boardwalk Seminar. He also  published a Daily Business Review article discussing the hazards associated with e-bikes and scooters, as well as the gaps in legislation regulating their use.

Cindy Ebenfeld of Cindy L. Ebenfeld, P.A., in Pembroke Pines has become a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil and County Court Mediator.

Brian H. Bieber of GrayRobinson in Miami was featured as an instructor at Stetson Law School’s White Collar Training Program.

Taylor J. Bandy of Bressler, Amery & Ross in Ft. Lauderdale has been appointed secretary to the Florida Securities Dealers and Advisors Executive Board.

Justin B. Shapiro of Leesfield & Partners spoke at the New Jersey Association for Justice’s 2025 Boardwalk Seminar.

Roger Feicht of Gunster became certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Civil Mediator.

Jennifer Fulton of Schwartz Sladkus Reich Greenberg Atlas in Boca Raton has become a member of the South Palm Beach County Bar Board of Directors.

Brian D. Burgoon of the Burgoon Law Firm in Atlanta received Florida Blue Key’s Myra Morgan Outstanding Mentorship Award.

Steven M. Harris wrote, “Aggressor Provocation and Justifiable Force — Inadequately Instructed, Often Misunderstood,” in the April issue, and, “Force Too Late or Too Soon is Not Justifiable Under Chapter 776,” in the May issue, of Forum 8, the online newsletter of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association.
