Keller Swan hosts second annual Project Backpack
Firm donates 300 backpacks to South Florida students
Keller Swan Injury Attorneys hosted its second annual Project Backpack event at its Jupiter office on August 2, donating 300 fully stocked backpacks to students across South Florida. Created to encourage local students as they return to school, the event featured food trucks that provided free meals to the first 100 kids, a bounce house, face painting, a raffle, and a silent disco.
“Our mission at Keller Swan is not only to serve our clients but also to give back to the community,” said Christopher Keller, firm co-founder. “We were thrilled with the turnout in 2024 and even more so this year, welcoming hundreds of families for a day filled with giving, fun, and community spirit.”
Firm co-founder Blake Swan added, “At Keller Swan, we are committed to creating opportunities for students to thrive. Providing these backpacks filled with essential supplies was a meaningful way for us to contribute to their success and empower them in their educational journey.”
Backpacks were filled with essential school supplies including notebooks, folders, supply pouches, pencils, scissors, glue sticks, erasers, and a safety information card. The backpacks are intended to help students start the school year prepared and confident.
Local partners included the Jupiter Police Department, Live Like Jake Foundation, and Hammy the Hammerhead from the Roger Dean Stadium.
As part of the back-to-school initiative, Keller Swan reserved a portion of the backpacks to be distributed in partnership with the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County.
In addition to Project Backpack, Keller Swan offers its Seize the Day Scholarship to support local students pursuing higher education, and an internship program for law students, offering hands-on experience and mentorship.
Since the firm’s establishment in 2024, Keller Swan Injury Attorneys has sponsored charitable activities to support the local community.
