Leadership Academy launches ‘The Lawyer/Leader Podcast’

Lawyer-Leader Podcast coverThe first episode of The Lawyer/Leader Podcast, a production of The Florida Bar’s Wm. Reese Smith, Jr., Leadership Academy, is now available.

Hosted by Leadership Academy Class XIII fellows Yesenia Arocha, Gabrielle Higgins, Ayanna Hypolite, Mallorie Milord, and Hillary Thornton, the debut episode features attorney Brooke West Blake, senior director of legal services for Eisner Advisory Group LLC (EisnerAmper) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and 13th Circuit Judge Michael Baggé-Hernández of Hillsborough County.

In a wide-ranging discussion, Blake and Baggé-Hernández reflect on the importance of trust, learning to pivot, navigating the adversarial system with kindness, and remembering the broader purpose behind the practice of law.
