Legal Services of Greater Miami receives first cryptocurrency donation
About a month ago, Legal Services of Greater Miami hosted a panel discussion on cryptocurrency and announced it was accepting tax-deductible cryptocurrency donations through a partnership with The Giving Block, providing supporters with an another avenue to make a difference in the lives of low-income families facing harsh realities, such as housing instability and income and food insecurities, made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic’s financial impact.
Legal Services of Greater Miami has now received its first cryptocurrency donation. On its Facebook page, Legal Services of Greater Miami announce that Dan Humphrey, a member of the Young Professionals Council, was “our inaugural cryptocurrency donor! Thank you for your generosity and for helping us to reach this exciting milestone. We appreciate all that you do for Legal Services of Greater Miami.”
