LSGM to host Third Annual Business Breakfast Panel February 21
Legal Services of Greater Miami will host a panel discussion with Miami leaders in health care.
Hosted by Greenberg Traurig, the Business Breakfast Panel on February 21 will focus on access to health care, medical legal partnership, and the impact on businesses. Panel members will include U.S. Rep. Donna E. Shalala; DR. Panagiota Caralis, chief of staff, Miami VA Health System; and Janisse R. Schoepp, vice president of operations and strategy, Health Foundation of South Florida. Jaret L. Davis of Greenberg’s Traurig’s Miami office and chairman of the board of directors of Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, will moderate the panel discussion on the growing importance of social determinants of health and their the impact on health care. The panel will also discuss how civil legal services is working with medical and social services staff to remedy social issues that impact community health.
