Robert Scavone, Jr., of Florida Appeals now hosts “Summarily — A Podcast for Busy Lawyers.”

Daniel Etlinger and Jennis Morse Etlinger recently presented at the Tampa Bay Bankruptcy Bar’s consumer and commercial lunches. At the consumer lunch Daniel was joined by Hillsborough Judge Michael J. Hooi and presented on the Credit Abuse Resistance Education program. At the commercial lunch Etlinger was joined by Alan Gassman, Lynn Sherman, and Richard Dauval and presented on tenancy by the entireties.

Michael Lynn Moore of Michael L. Moore, P.A., in Orlando has been appointed chair of the Citrus Club Board of Governors.

Robert Q. Lee of Brennan, Manna & Diamond in Orlando has been appointed vice chair of the Citrus Club Board of Governors.

Kenneth A. Gordon of Brinkley Morgan in Ft. Lauderdale and the Broward Partnership Board served as one of the celebrity waiters at this year’s Breakfast for Champions of the Homeless.

H.T. Smith of FIU College of Law received The William J. Matheson Award from the Miami-Dade County Parks Department for his “outstanding contributions to the park, recreation, and open spaces field through sponsorship, philanthropy and development.”

Christian Haman of Dal Lago Law in Naples was recently selected to be in the Associate Leadership Class of 2023.

Jorge Maza of Hinshaw & Culbertson in Coral Gables has been appointed co-chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Subcommittee of the ABA Litigation Section.

John Gihon of Lasnetski Gihon Law in Orlando spoke at three events on Immigration Law: as a panelist at the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Central Florida Chapter Annual Conference, where he spoke on how crimes affect all aspects of immigration law; and two training presentations to the Public Defender’s Offices for the Ninth Circuit and the 18th Circuit on, “Immigration Consequences of Criminal Prosecutions.”

Britton Goodlad Swank of Ft. Myers was honored as the 2022 Chapter Member of the Year by the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys.

James Gonzalez of Cobb Gonzalez was appointed to the Florida Board of Professional Engineers.

Ceci Berman of Brannock Humphries & Berman participated in a panel discussion at the Wm. Reece Smith, Jr., Litigation American Inn of Court on, “Last Things First: What Your Appellate Attorney Wants You to Know.”

Kim Nutter of Brinkley Morgan in Boca Raton was named president of the Florida Chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.

Celene H. Humphries of Brannock Humphries & Berman was presented with an award by the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association in recognition of her contributions that have benefited lawyers representing injured plaintiffs in Broward County.

Dominique Sciullo of Brinkley Morgan in Boca Raton participated in Judge Caryn Siperstein’s 15th Circuit investiture ceremony.
