MCBA honors 2019-2020 President Jason Berger
'It's never too late to make up for lost time and say thank you!'

Wayne Richter, MCBA immediate past president (from left); Brandon V. Woodward, MCBA president; Ryan Reif (in gator costume); Jason Berger, honoree; and Gary Lesser, former president of The Florida Bar, gathered on January 9 to celebrate Berger’s 2019-2020 MCBA presidency.
Jason Berger was recently honored by the Martin County Bar Association for his role as president in 2019-2020.
“It’s never too late to make up for lost time and say thank you!” MCBA Executive Director Lynne Poirier said, noting that the event had been canceled at the time of Berger’s presidency due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“You could feel the respect, admiration, and love all around the room,” said Poirier.
The theme for the evening was “Back to School.” Members wore their college attire while enjoying gator bite appetizers, gator juice, live music, gator candy, and speeches by Judge Jennifer Waters, Wayne Richter, Scott Konopka, and Gary Lesser, a former president of The Florida Bar.
MCBA member Scott Konopka said, “this was one of the best parties the MCBA has ever thrown. I loved seeing all of us celebrate Jason.”
