Consumer Protection Lawyer of the Year

Consumer attorneys are the lawyers Floridians often turn to when they are in crisis, facing foreclosures or evictions, trying to restore their credit, or dealing with deceptive and unfair business practices.

The Florida Bar’s Consumer Protection Law Committee seeks to honor a legal services, public interest, academic, private, or other deserving attorney whose special contributions to the practice of consumer law have strengthened and affirmed the rights of consumers in Florida by not only helping consumers, but also educating peers about the practice of consumer law.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2023 Consumer Protection Lawyer of the Year Award. The nomination form is available on the committee’s page on The Florida Bar website. Nominations must be received by 5 p.m. on March 31. If you have any questions, contact Melanie Woodall at [email protected].
