Ralph H. Schofield, Jr., has been named as a partner with Clark, Campbell, Lancaster & Munson in Lakeland. Schofield practices primarily in the areas of business and real estate litigation, including handling issues related to community associations, the environment and land use, labor and employment, and residential and commercial tenancies

Ryan Johns has joined Snyder Financial Group in Tampa as an associate wealth advisor concentrating on asset management, cash flow analysis and budgeting, and retirement planning.

Temi Zeitenberg has opened the Law Office of Temi Zeitenberg LLC, located at 301 Yamato Road, Suite 1240, Boca Raton 33431. Her practice focuses on all areas of family and matrimonial law. Zeitenberg also is a court appointed guardian ad litem with emphasis on parental alienation and child endangerment cases.

Sarah G. Weber has become a partner with Laufer & Laufer in Boca Raton.

Marilee A. Mark has been named partner in Genovese Joblove & Battista in Miami. Mark focuses on bankruptcy and insolvency matters in federal and state courts, with a particular emphasis on complex bankruptcy, insolvency, and commercial litigation.

Brittany Finkbeiner has joined Dean Mead in Tallahassee as an associate in the government relations, lobbying, and administrative law practice group.

Sean M. Lebowitz has been named a partner with Gutter Chaves Josepher Rubin Forman Fleisher Miller in Boca Raton. Lebowitz practices in the areas of probate, trust and guardianship litigation, and administration.

Jacob J. Linhart, Joseph R. Natiello, and Jason M. Vanslette have joined Kelley Kronenberg in Ft. Lauderdale. Linhart focuses on foreclosure litigation. Natiello handles matters involving the defense of general liability claims, including first-party and third-party insurance defense litigation. Vanslette focuses on mortgage foreclosure litigation and assisting banks and other financial service providers with regulatory, enforcement, transactional, and litigation matters.

Kathleen S. Phang has joined Berger Singerman in Miami as a partner and member of the dispute resolution team.

Alessandra Stivelman and Michele A. Crosa have become partners with Eisinger, Brown, Lewis, Frankel & Chaiet in Hollywood. Stivelman focuses on real estate law, condominium and community association law, commercial litigation, and construction litigation. Crosa focuses on the representation of condominium and community associations.

Robert M. Kritzman has joined Cozen O’Connor in Miami as a member in the transportation and logistics practice.

Eric T. Halsey has joined Grossman Roth in Boca Raton. Halsey forcuses on tort litigation, including medical malpractice, negligent security, premises liability, auto and trucking negligence, wrongful death, and legal malpractice.

Christopher Moya and Emily Duda Buckley have joined Jones Walker. Moya will serve as director of government relations and Buckley as government relations manager to the firm’s state, national, and international government relations teams. Daniel Russell also rejoins the firm as special counsel in the gaming and litigation practice groups in Tallahassee.

Cari Roth has joined Dean Mead in Tallahassee as of counsel in the government relations, lobbying, and administrative law practice group.

Keith Kanouse, Jr., has joined Hayes Law, PL, in Orlando as an associate. Kanouse focuses primarily in the areas of commercial litigation and construction law.

Adi Amit has been named a partner at Lubell Rosen in Ft. Lauderdale. Amit focuses on employment and commercial litigation, with an emphasis on representing and defending local businesses.

Josh Rubens and Richard Segal have been named partners at Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine in Miami. Rubens focuses on commercial litigation and trust and estate litigation. Segal focuses on commercial litigation and family law, assisting clients in a range of business and corporate litigation matters, and matrimonial disputes.

Jennifer E. Seipel has joined AWTS P.A., in Orlando as an associate. Seipel focuses on liability insurance defense, insurer bad faith litigation, commercial litigation, employee welfare benefits compliance, business disputes, and general civil ligitation.

Grant J. Lachman has joined Genovese Joblove & Battista in Miami as an associate.

Mauricio D. Rivero has become a partner with Avila Rodriguez Hernandez Mena & Ferri in South Florida. Rivero focuses on taxation and estate planning for domestic and international clients.

Jonathan Freidin has joined Freidin Dobrinsky Brown & Rosenblum in Miami as an associate. Freidin focuses on plaintiffs’ personal injury, medical malpractice, and product liability.

Randy Hanna has rejoined Bryant Miller Olive in Tallahassee. In addition to practicing at Bryant Miller Olive, Hanna will teach at the university level and will consult with higher education institutions and organizations.

James Jones, Jr., of Miami has co-founded Court Buddy, a legal matchmaking service that helps Floridians with pending court cases or other urgent legal matters get matched quickly with Florida attorneys.

Sylvia L. Wenger has joined Weiss, Handler & Cornwell in Boca Raton, where she will head up the firm’s new federal practice and mediation departments. Wenger focuses on products liability, consumer protection, fair labor standards, insurance, and employment law, as well as appellate and criminal law.

Gregory M. Lefkowitz of Boca Raton and Miles L. Plaskett of Miami have become partners with Duane Morris. Lefkowitz practices in all areas of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyright law. Plaskett focuses on corporate and municipal finance, including project finance, with an emphasis on renewable energy and infrastructure projects.

Troy Seibert, Bill Schoel, James Shaw, Kim Gorak, and Chris Ramey have become partners with Butler Pappas Weihmuller Katz Craig in Tampa. Seibert concentrates on litigating first-party insurance coverage matters. Schoel practices in the liability department. Shaw practices with the firm’s extracontractual, coverage, and liability departments. Gorak’s primary areas of practice include third-party coverage, bad faith and liability defense. Ramey focuses on first-party property insurance matters including losses related to windstorm, fire, sinkhole, theft, and other catastrophic perils.

Chené M. Thompson has been named a partner at Pavese Law Firm in Ft. Myers. Thompson focuses on community associations and corporations with an emphasis on litigation.

Dennis A. Meyers has joined World Wide Medical Services, Inc., in Tampa as corporate counsel. World Wide Medical Services is a provider of physician prescribed home electrotherapy and orthotic devices for the treatment of non-narcotic pain management and rehabilitation.

Jhanelle Grant, Loren Hevesi, Banda Nadeau, and Samantha Shaw have joined the Fourth Circuit Public Defender’s Office as assistant PDs. Grant is assigned to county court where she represents clients charged with misdemeanors. Hevesi also manages a misdemeanor caseload. Nadeau took appointment as APD in felony – repeat offender court. Shaw joins juvenile court as an APD.

Francis E. “Frank” Rodriguez has been named partner in charge of Shutts & Bowen in Miami. Rodriguez works with domestic and international individuals and business entities on state and federal tax and transactional issues.

Justin C. Carlin has become a partner with Golden & La Neve in Ft. Lauderdale, which will now be known as Golden Carlin. The firm will continue its practice primarily in business, construction, and real property litigation; corporate and real property transactions; estate planning; and probate.

Kelley Kronenberg has elevated eight of its attorneys in Florida to partners: Valerie B. Barnhart, Suzette A. Cozzi, B. Kyle Morley, and Richard S. Unger in Ft. Lauderdale; Eric J. Stockel in West Palm Beach; Barbara L. Porter in Miami Lakes; Amanda Mitteer Bartley in Ft. Myers; and Walter G. Benjamin in Orlando. Barnhart focuses on commercial matters with an emphasis on the drafting and negotiation of contracts and shareholder agreements, contractual disputes, shareholder actions, construction defect defense, the formation and structuring of business entities, transactions involving the purchase and sale of business assets, secured transactions and business transactions. Lee Ann Tranford and Steven A. (“Rusty”) Nisbet have joined Smolker, Bartlett, Schlosser, Loeb & Hinds in Tampa. Tranford focuses on commercial real estate. Nisbet joins the litigation practice group.

Patrick J. Rengstl has joined Payton & Associates in Miami as senior counsel. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, receiverships in state and federal courts, insurance disputes, real estate litigation, and appellate advocacy.

Paul L. Luger has become managing partner of Hurley, Rogner, Miller, Cox, Waranch & Westcott’s Ft. Pierce office. Luger focuses on workers’ compensation matters.

Greenspoon Marder Law has opened an office in Miami, located at 600 Brickell Avenue. Robert F. Lewis will be the managing shareholder of the new Miami office and will chair the firm’s newly formed alcohol beverage group. He will be joined by shareholder Marbet Lewis, special counsel Bradley F. Rothenberg, regulatory consultants Thomas Busey, Loy A. Haynes, Thomas J. Niekamp, Debra B. Pender, and three alcohol beverage licensing specialists.

Greenberg Traurig has added five new attorneys in the Miami office. Christopher L. Barnett and Michael J. Thomas have joined the real estate practice group as shareholders.  Joining the labor and employment practice group are shareholders Arturo Ross and Patrick F. Martin and of counsel Kevin J. Morris. Ross focuses on labor and employment law. Barnett focuses on general real estate matters, including development and construction matters. Thomas focuses on construction law and construction litigation matters. Martin represents employers in employment matters before state and federal courts as well as the Department of Labor, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Florida Commission on Human Relations, and other administrative agencies. Morris represents clients in matters including federal and state court litigation, union elections, and unfair labor practices charges before the National Labor Relations Board.

Silver focuses on commercial litigation, creditors’ rights work for financial institutions and investors including litigation, post-judgment collections, and lender liability, and a variety of real estate and other contractual disputes.
