Jeff Paskert was elected president of Mills Paskert Divers. The firm’s practice areas include commercial, construction, and surety litigation, with offices in Tampa and Atlanta.

Ivette A. O’Doski has joined Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney in Miami as senior advisor in its government relations section.

Matthew S. Cassman has joined McConnaughhay, Coonrod, Pope, Weaver, Stern & Thomas in Jacksonville focusing on workers’ compensation defense.

Alexandra Deane has joined Grant Fridkin Pearson in Naples concentrating on civil litigation and business law.

Jennifer Roeper and Natalie McEwan joined Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart in Tampa. Roeper, who joins as of counsel, is board certified in immigration and nationality law. McEwan is an associate focusing on immigration law.

Chad M. Pilon has opened Chad M. Pilon PLLC (Pilon Injury Law) in St. Petersburg. The firm is a full service plaintiff’s personal injury firm focusing on litigation.

Maria D. Garcia has been named an income partner at Zumpano Patricios & Winker in Coral Gables. Garcia focuses on health care law, commercial litigation, and international law matters.

William T. Viergever, Michael D. Burt, and Steven M. Lury have become partners of Sonneborn Rutter & Cooney in West Palm Beach, which will now be known as Sonneborn Rutter Cooney Viergever Burt & Lury, a litigation and medical malpractice law firm.

Thomas D. Graham has joined Mase Lara in Miami as an associate focusing on complex civil, catastrophic personal injury, and criminal defense litigation.

Maxwell J. Dauerman has joined Young Berman Karpf & Gonzalez in Ft. Lauderdale as an associate in the family law practice.

Linda L. Snelling has joined Cole Schotz in its new Boca Raton office. Snelling will manage the office and focus on probate and guardianship matters.

Duane Morris added five partners to the firm’s Miami office. Robert A. Zinn joins the corporate practice group; William D. Rohrer, and Anastasios G. Kastrinakis join the tax practice within the corporate practice group; Marsha Madorsky joins the wealth planning practice group; and Roger S. Goldman joins the real estate practice group.

Renée Thompson has joined the Upchurch Watson White & Max Mediation Group. She will practice out of Ocala, where the group will establish an office. Thompson will mediate disputes in both state and federal court.

Mark Edwards has joined Almazan Law in Miami as the managing attorney for the workers’ compensation defense department.

Jennifer Schwartz has joined Littler Mendelson in Miami as a shareholder focusing on wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, wage and hour violations, and unfair business practices.

Krystine Espina has joined GrayRobinson as an associate focusing on family law. She will work from the Ft. Lauderdale and Boca Raton offices.

Michael Pineiro has become a partner with Marcus Neiman & Rashbaum in Miami. He focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on government enforcement defense, securities, partnership disputes, and complex commercial litigation.

Philip W. Grosdidier has joined Fox Wackeen Dungey in Stuartas an associate focusing on business law, estate planning, guardianship, probate, and trust administration.

Melodie “Dee” Menzer has joined Johnson, Pope, Bokor, Ruppel & Burns in St. Petersburg focusing on tax planning for transactions, choice of entity selection for businesses, business restructuring, and acquisitions and dispositions of businesses.

Panza, Maurer & Maynard has relocated its home offices at The Coastal Towers, 2400 E. Commercial Boulevard in Ft. Lauderdale. The firm has also opened an office in Coral Gables in the Alhambra Building, Two Alhambra Plaza.

Alberto Polimeni has joined Kelley Kronenberg in Ft. Lauderdale and Miami focusing on employment and labor law. He also handles matters involving immigration, business transactions, and commercial litigation.

Gabriel Itskovich has joined Broad and Cassel in Boca Raton as an associate in the real estate practice group.

Luks, Santaniello, Petrillo & Jones in Ft. Lauderdale has added a new legal division to represent environmental claims and expand its professional liability team. The new division is spearheaded by senior partner Stuart L. Cohen and Erik M. Viera and Dale J. Spurr, who will work out of the firm’s Miami office.

Rhett Parker has joined Phelps Dunbar in Tampa as an associate focusing on premises liability defense and general negligence defense.

Hannah Monroe has joined Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell in Tallahassee as an associate focusing on cases involving employment and labor issues, governmental and administrative law, and criminal defense.

Michelle Bedoya, a long-time employee of Orlando’s The Health Law Firm, was admitted to The Florida Bar in April. Bedoya will focus on health law as an associate.
