Stephen H. Reisman of Miami has been named vice chair of Peckar & Abramson, which has eight offices in five states, plus the District of Columbia. Reisman also serves on the firm’s executive committee and will be co-managing partner of the Miami office with attorney Gary M. Stein.

Jamie A. Rozzi has joined ShuffieldLowman in Orlando as an associate with a background in estate planning, trusts, business, and tax law. 

Glenn M. Cooper has joined the Ft. Lauderdale and Miami offices of GrayRobinson as a shareholder in the firm’s immigration and international law department. Cooper will focus on assisting U.S. companies, foreign companies, investors, and professionals regarding U.S. immigration laws.

Nicolle Piquet has joined Boyd & Jenerette in Jacksonville as an associate. Piquet will focus on civil litigation, auto liability, trucking and transportation, and premises liability.

Christine Green has joined Ward Damon Posner Pheterson & Bleau in West Palm Beach as an associate. Green concentrates in the area of civil litigation representing financial institutions in foreclosure cases.

Dixie Daimwood has joined McIntosh, Sawran & Cartaya in Ft. Lauderdale as an associate. Daimwood will practice in the medical malpractice and professional negligence division.

Michael P. McCahill has joined Fowler White Burnett as an associate in Ft. Lauderdale. McCahill will practice in the litigation practice group.

Stephen Higgins of Tampa has become a partner with Finebloom & Haenel, which will now be known as Finebloom, Haenel & Higgins. Higgins focuses on criminal defense and personal injury litigation.

Alexandra Melnick has joined Schlesinger and Cotzen in Miami as an associate. Melnick will focus on commercial and probate litigation.

Celine A. “Sasha” Funk has joined Berger Singerman in Miami as an associate and member of the dispute resolution team. Funk focuses on complex commercial and transnational litigation, as well as international commercial arbitration.

Joseph A. Carballo has become an income partner with Zumpano Patricios & Winker in Coral Gables. Carballo focuses on litigation and healthcare matters.

Page, Mrachek, Fitzgerald & Rose has changed its name to Page, Mrachek, Fitzgerald, Rose, Konopka & Dow, P.A., in recognition of the contributions made by shareholders Scott Konopka in Stuart and Randy Dow in West Palm Beach.

Matthew Barrett Hoover Bodie has joined the Law Offices of Michael S. Drews in Jacksonville as an associate. Bodie practices in the area of commercial litigation.

Jessica Kennedy has joined The Law Offices of Daniel F. Dill in Orlando. Kennedy’s area of practice is general civil litigation.

Graves Injury Law Group has relocated its Vero Beach office and headquarters to 3885 20th Street in Vero Beach.

Harsh Arora was promoted to the head of the litigation division at Spiegel & Utrera in Miami. Arora focuses his practice in the areas of business litigation and arbitration.

Clinton S. Payne has joined Hinshaw & Culbertson in Coral Gables as a partner in its defense litigation practice. Payne focuses on premises liability, products liability, personal injury, insurance coverage, professional liability, and medical malpractice defense.

Karen K. Specie has become a U.S. bankruptcy judge for the Northern District of Florida.

Holly L. Gershow has joined Hill Ward Henderson in Tampa as an associate in the litigation group. Her practice focuses on complex litigation matters in federal and state courts at both the trial and appellate levels.

Mark Barnebey and Scott Rudacille have joined Blalock Walters as principals in Bradenton. Their practices focus on local government, land use, and real estate law.

Lara Escobio O’Donnell has joined Berger Singerman in Miami as an associate and member of the dispute resolution team. Her practice focuses on construction law and general commercial and securities litigation.

Carl J. Wald has joined Hicks, Motto & Ehrlich in Palm Beach Gardens as an associate. Wald concentrates on personal injury claims.
