Judge Lisa Small reads to kids at the Mandel Public Library in West Palm Beach as part of the Reading and Robes program

Members of the 15th Judicial Circuit read to over 30 students through the Reading and Robes program, which was recently held at the Mandel Public Library in West Palm Beach.

Thanks to the generosity of Palm Beach County Bar Association members, and through the National Judicial Council, the association donated a signed children’s book written by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor to all the students and their teachers.

This national program, supported locally by the PBCBA Judicial Relations, Lawyers for Literacy, and Law Related Education committees, is an integral part in educating children in the community about the justice system and the role of the judiciary.

Fifteenth Judicial Circuit judges who participated in Reading and Robes, include Joseph Curley, Magistrate Maxine Williams, Charles Burton, Lisa Small, Samantha Feuer, Ashley Zuckerman, and Nancy Perez (ret).
