Perenich, Caulfield, Avril & Noyes hosts annual ‘Read and Play’ event at Ponce de Leon Elementary School
Clearwater firm Perenich, Caulfield, Avril & Noyes held its annual “Read and Play” event for third graders at Ponce de Leon Elementary School, dedicated to promoting safety, literacy, and physical activity among young children.
The firm’s lawyers talk with the children about safety during the summer whether in a car, on a bike, walking, or around the swimming pool. The firm also presents each third grader with a age-appropriate book to read during the summer and a ball to promote physical activity and play.
The goal is to encourage the kids to “break away from the video games or television during the summer and instead enjoy a good book under a tree or play a game of ball with their friends,” according to the firm.
“We have enjoyed putting on the Read & Play project for years,” said Matthew Noyes, a partner at the firm.
“Having the chance to help educate the children about safety to prevent them from getting hurt is both rewarding and fun,” says Jacqlyn Bryant, a partner with the firm.
