Scam spoofs OSCA’s email domain
The Miami-Dade courts have been made aware of an email scam that attempts to extort money from individuals through emails sent from an “@flcourts.net” domain.
This email domain is very similar to the domain for the Office of the State Courts Administrator (OSCA), ending in “@flcourts.org.” An unsuspecting recipient of such an email may not see the difference and think it is a genuine email communication from the Florida state courts system.
Any emails received from an “@flcourts.net” domain should be deleted.
