Scarritt acts it out at Eisenhower Elementary
TAMPA LAWYER and professional actor Tom Scarritt taught stage acting to six classes of fourth-graders at the invitation of his daughter, teacher Mallory Scarritt Edghill, at Eisenhower Elementary School in Clearwater as part of the Great American Teach-In held November 15. The students selected props, created scenes, and then acted them out on stage without using words or sounds. The Great American Teach-In has for more than 30 years brought students together with fighter pilots, judges, plumbers, dog trainers, nurses, and others who explain what they do and how school helped to get them there. Over 8,000 teachers participated across the country.
