Second Circuit JNC sends six names to the governor
The Second Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission sent six names to the governor to fill a circuit vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Robert Wheeler.
After interviews and deliberations, the nominees are listed in alphabetical order as follows:
- James Beville
- Ian Garland
- Jason Jones
- Stephanie Newlin
- Carlos Rey
- Steven Sellers
The members of the Second Circuit JNC include: William N. Spicola, chair, David Arthmann, Denise Harle, Carly A. Hermanson, Tim Moore, Brian Newman, Kristina R. Osterhaus, and Ray Treadwell.
