Shutts & Bowen's Thanksgiving Food Drive

The Orlando office of Shutts & Bowen recently completed a Thanksgiving Food Drive and assembly event, collecting more than 1,300 pounds of food for the Orlando Christian Service Center.

Led by co-chair of the firm’s Pro Bono Committee, Michael Gore, attorneys and staff donated a wide range of Thanksgiving staples, including boxed stuffing, instant mashed potatoes, canned vegetables, macaroni and cheese, gravy packets and other items needed to build complete holiday meal kits.

“Our team showed up in both tremendous generosity and spirit,” said Orlando Managing Partner Daniel O’Keefe. “Seeing everyone come together to support families in our community, especially during the holidays, demonstrates how meaningful our collective efforts can be in helping those in need in Central Florida.”

The effort culminated in a hands-on assembly event where volunteers packed and prepared boxes for local families. The food was then delivered to the Orlando Christian Service Center, which will distribute the boxes to families facing food insecurity throughout Central Florida.
