Caryn A. Stevens, Mina Robinson, and Eddie Stephens
Eddie Stephens and Caryn A. Stevens of Stephens & Stevens recently awarded Mina Robinson a $1,000 academic scholarship at the Leadership Palm Beach County GROW Graduation Ceremony.
Robinson is currently a junior at Jupiter Community High School. Stephens & Stevens awarded Robinson the scholarship based on her essay, which conveyed her determination and drive to make a difference in the world and her appreciation of the GROW program. Robinson was one of 24 recipients who received a scholarship for post-high school education.
Stephens and Stevens are Leadership Palm Beach County graduates, with Stephens serving on the its Board of Governors. The Palm Beach County GROW Program accepted only 48 high school juniors who represent the diversity of Palm Beach County’s school system. Upon completion, students graduate into a group of alumni “better prepared for the world ahead of them, with the skills to influence the future direction of Palm Beach County and our nation.”
“The Leadership GROW program is an opportunity of a lifetime for high school juniors,” said Stephens. “Students are exposed to the highest level business professionals and gain knowledge by interacting directly with these leaders. Through this program, they are introduced to industry business sectors ranging from civics and government to agriculture, to arts and culture, and health and human services to better understand our community.”
