Stetson Law wins YLD’s Robert Orseck Memorial Moot Court Competition
The Stetson University College of Law team of Elizabeth Campbell, Mariana Monforte, and Benjamin Russell won the 2024 Robert Orseck Memorial Moot Court Competition, sponsored by the Young Lawyers Division, at the Annual Florida Bar Convention. The final round was argued in front of the Florida Supreme Court in Orlando. Campbell also won Best Oral Advocate in the final round. From the left in the front are Monforte, Russell, and Campbell. The competition commemorates the lifelong dedication of the late appellate attorney Robert Orseck, who is considered by many to have played a significant role in the development of the common law in Florida.
