Stetson’s trial team scores another national championship
Stetson’s Trial Team
Stetson’s Trial Team recently captured the Syracuse National Trial Competition.
The Stetson team competed in six “hard-fought” trials against teams from across the country. Stetson was ranked fourth heading into the Semifinal Rounds and defeated the #1 team to advance to the finals. They then defeated the number two team to win the championship.
Kayla Grey won “Best Cross-Examination” in the entire competition and was named “Best Advocate” in the finals
Others on the team included Cameron Sargent, Javier Pena, Jacob Lamonsoff, and Kayla Grey.
The coaches included Alec Waid and Kate Donoghue, associate director of the Center for Excellence in Advocacy.
