Supreme Court Committee on Standard Jury Instructions in Criminal Cases is accepting applications
The Supreme Court Committee on Standard Jury Instructions in Criminal Cases is now accepting applications for membership on the committee.
This year, the only open position is for someone for the state. The committee is charged with updating the criminal and Jimmy Ryce jury instructions. The committee meets approximately four times a year usually in the Central Florida area. All appointments are made by the chief justice.

The deadline for submitting an application is May 23. Individuals who have previously submitted an application and who are interested in serving should reapply. All interested parties are requested to submit a cover letter along with the application via email to Bart Schneider, committee staff liaison, at [email protected].
